Shakespeare Festival

LVR students have attended this well known festival for 18 years. This year students will once again participate in this inspiring event, held in Vernon April 23-25.  Check out http://www.goodwillshakespeare.ca for more information. Auditions for the Shakespeare play will be held in February 2020.

Greetings!

Your son/daughter is planning to attend the annual Good Will Shakespeare Festival to be held in Vernon, BC, April 28 to April 30. Over three days students experience professional workshops, nightly performances, and two keynote addresses. Students will have the opportunity to work with theatre professionals from around the province and see some inspired high school theatre.

Good Will Shakespeare Festival 2019

Schedule:
Depart 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27 from LVR
Depart 3:30 Tuesday, April 30 from Vernon Lodge & Conference Centre (3914-32nd Street)
Return to LVR approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 30.

Cost:
Each student must pay $230 to attend the festival. This amount covers the following.

  1. Student Registration
  2. Professional Workshops
  3. Evening Performances
  4. One Lunch 
  5. A Festival T-shirt
  6. Accommodation
  7. Transportation

If you wish to pay by cheque, please make payable to L.V. Rogers Secondary School. 

Extra funds are needed to cover the cost of the following:

  1. 4x breakfast money
  2. 3x lunch money
  3. 4x dinner money
  4. Treats/shopping money


Bring treats and bag dinner for Saturday's journey.
